23 Jan OneDemand Now a Time Matters Certified Consultant
We’re a Time Matters Certified Consultant, Culminating Our 15+ Year History with the Program.
3/10/2017 Update: We’ve relocated from Orange County, CA to Dallas-Fort Worth, TX! This move means our legal tech services have now arrived for law firms in the DFW area.
We’re very excited to announce that OneDemand is now certified by Lexis-Nexis as a consultant on their Time Matters software platform. Time Matters is an on-premises case management system (“CMS”) for law firms of all sizes; we’ve run it successfully in a law firm environment with over 200 people, but it works just as well in a small-to-mid sized law firm, too.
OneDemand is a Time Matters Certified Consultant covering all of the Dallas Fort Worth area: including Dallas County, Tarrant County, Collin County, Denton County, and Rockwall County.
Our designation as a Time Matters Certified Consultant means we have completed the necessary training and testing to the standards set by Lexis-Nexis, and gives our law firm customers independent verification of the deep expertise we’ve developed in using and developing Time Matters for over 15+ years. Our background in Time Matters includes application development to customize and automate workflow and work product using both the included functionality, as well as custom software, reporting, and integrations we’ve built to extend the capabilities of Time Matters beyond the box.
And, Time Matters is just the beginning. Although we can work with just about any CMS out there – largely because we are SQL ninjas, and pretty much all CMS platforms run on SQL – we’re also working on other certifications to ensure our customers get objective, expert advice tailored to their particular practice environments.
We certainly have our opinions on which CMS is right for law firms – cloud or on-premises? – but the answer will vary along with the technology needs, practice areas, and goals of each law firm. I may be partial to Time Matters because I chose to build my practice on it over the course of 15 years (a choice I’d make again, by the way), but there is no one-size-fits-all approach to selecting and building out a CMS. I’d love to hear in the comments or on our social media what CMS solution you use, and how it is working out for you. And, of course, if you need help with Time Matters, we’re now a Time Matters certified consultant and are ready to make it go to work for your law firm’s unique needs.
Best,
Scott J. Jackson, Esq.
